The new year has kicked off good. I have finally managed to get hold on one of the busy members for a quick chat, and it´s the bass bender lunatic Michel.

How is it going with the album?

-Its going great. All the music has been recorded and there is going to be 11 tracks on the album.

Ok, sounds nice. Whats left to do before you release it?

Well Rimbert have to write lyrics for the last three songs and then we´ll record them too. Then our producer and former Syron Vanes guitarist Anders Hanne is going to do the mix and lay the final touch to it. After that we´re going to Stockholm to get it mastered.

The Syron Vanes, testing some new ideas. The room is filled with loudspeakers, microphones and other technical equipment. The guitars are plugged in and then it starts. The music is loud and heavy. The base, the guitar and the drums make the walls tremble. I listened to some of the new material, took my pictures and left the room, the sound of Heavy Metal still ringing in my ears. That was good. Really good. Mental note: “Next time, don’t stand next to the speaker.

“Could someone please move the drums somewhere else? Why do you need them all? You only got two drumsticks anyway…”
