Anders Hahne about the new record.

"I feel like we have made the best record we can make , It's like reinventing heavy metal again"

With the new record Evil redux we have gone back to where it all began.
We wanted this to be something that we would have written right after the Bringer of evil album.

Anders Hahne is the producer of the new album with a track set of 13 songs.
One of the songs are a re-recording of Bringer of evil from the 1984 album.
We decided that it would be fun to do that song.
And when we were listening to the result it felt like home again, it fit together so well with the new songs it's amazing.

We began to record the songs 2009 in my studio, and we wrote the material along the way.
Everything was done without planning it was just a matter of using the right side of your brain, there is something magic happening when you lock out all your day duties and just creep in to a world where the only thing that matters is to be creative.
Not thinking can we do this or that-just do it!!!!

The album, a blend of heavy slower songs, midtempo and as in the nwobhm tradition a couple of uptempo songs.
For the first time we have incorporated a symphonic orchestra in the song "King of it all".
As a matter of fact violin rocks!
The sound on the album is the best we ever have created, it's thunderous.

By using mostly analog studio equipment we feel that our music sounds the best.
Of course we are using computers to record but almost all the outboards are analog, there's no competition.
Analog just sounds the best.
The human ear is analog!!

We really hope that our fans like this album as much as we do.
And we look forward to present the new material on stage.

See you!!
